Message from the Founder & President

Hi, I’m so glad you’ve found your way here.

Arkansas Maternal Coalition was created from a deep understanding that maternal health is about more than physical care—it’s about feeling seen, heard, and supported through every stage of the journey. I have the honor of supporting women through their mental health challenges and reproductive experiences, and after spending thousands of hours walking alongside them, one statement echoes again and again: "I just wish I knew someone who felt, experienced, or thought this too..."

That longing for connection is exactly why this work matters. Whether navigating pregnancy, miscarriage, infant loss, infertility, postpartum struggles, or the everyday realities of motherhood, every woman deserves access to compassionate, evidence-based resources, and a community that understands.

I invite you to explore our website and social media pages to learn more about the work we’re doing and how you can get involved.

Arkansas Maternal Coalition is committed to improving maternal health outcomes across Arkansas by eliminating barriers to resources and uplifting women through expressive art, storytelling, and diverse media. My hope is that through this work, we continue to empower, inspire, and remind each other: you are not alone.

With gratitude,
Kaitlyn Gardner LPC, PMH-C
